Heaven Knows


what have you been up to since i saw you last?
i know it’s been a while now, time moves so fast
do you still go fishing every chance you get?
do you still hate the yankees? still root for the mets?

heaven knows the reasons why you had to go away
and heaven knows i never dreamed i’d have to face that day

I heard this song play on my iPad and i couldn’t help but tear up while i was listening to it… it reminded me of Pop, ha i think the only thing he didn’t like was the Yankees and the Mets.. but boy did he love to go fishing.. he’s my angel in disguise.. 

Salutes to you Pop i don’t think i ever got a chance to thank you for your service but its never too late… im thanking you now… 

I love you Pop I will see you again one sweet day your memory will lie in my heart forever <3 Rest In Peace..

A Tribute To Our Troops

Its funny how all you ever hear about are celebrity deaths, school shooting, and how corrupt this nation has become. We’re busy taking care of the border that divides American and Mexico, funding other nations to help them rebuild their economy rather than fixing the problems our own country has first. The one thing you never hear about are the many Troops over seas getting wounded and killed every day.

The men and women who serve our country put their lives on the line to keep us safe and how does America as a nation respect them? They don’t. Its so wrong.  

I’m writing this post to personally thank every member of the military who has served, is serving and will serve this nation. 

To our men and women in uniform, past, present, and future. God Bless You and thank you, for serving this country.

&#8220;For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only begotten son for those who so ever believe in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.&#8221; (NKJV) This is where love comes from. God love for us is undying, unconditional and, never changing. Do you believe in God&#160;? Do you believe that God set his only son to die on the cross for you to save you for your sin&#160;? It says in the Bible that God made us in his likeness but when the woman was deceived by the serpent and ate from the tree that God forbade her to eat from man was not of God anymore. Man was now of sin and from there on out man was made of sinful nature until we make that profession of faith and accept Jesus into our hearts and live according to his will. Are you a believe are do you just think you are&#160;? And do you follow a religion for do you follow Jesus Christ&#160;? Will you make that profession of faith and live for God starting today&#160;?

Prayer Warrior

I just got back from a retreat with the church I used to go to. The retreat is called 220 and it’s based off of the verse Galatians 2:20 which says “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. This life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who lived me and gave himself for me.”
I didn’t go to the summer camp this past summer but the theme was “Awakening” and this past weekend the theme was “Uprising” the entire weekend we talked about prayer and how that it’s the start of it all prayer is where everything begins. I’ve always been the kind of person that didn’t really like when people prayed for me and i didn’t really prayer for other people like I should be. I built this wall around my life because I’m afraid of letting people in, all I know is hurt, heartache and abandoness. One of my my friends is on the intercessory team and we had an alter call last night. For those of you who don’t know what that is, it’s where everyone gets up and goes and prays at the stage at the feet of God. I didn’t know anyone else up there and I stood in line for him to pray over me. God broke me he tore down that wall I had built and I feel alive in my faith I feel alive in Christ. Never underestimate the power of prayer.

If there is one thing that I can pray for you today what is it ? I want to k ow I want to pray for you and let God immerse you in Himself.

God,
I want to pray blessings over the people who read this post. Let your light shine in them around them and through that by the power of the blood of the lamb Go I ask that chains of hurt, hatred, and failure be broken let lives be healed as eyes be open in your name Lord I pray that each and everyone is touched by this story that they may be hit by the Word dear Lord It is in Your Name that I pray
Amen.

Did You Know?

Did you know that if you have faith as small as in itty bitty mustard seed you have the power to move something as big as a HUGE mountain ? Did you know there was a man named Jonah and he was swallowed by a big fish and spent three days and three nights in its stomach ? And did you know that there is an ideal woman ? What about love and hope ? Did you know the anchor is the symbol of hope ? Who made God ? How did He make something out of absolutely nothing, or is that even possible ?

Burning Bridges

“I’m burning bridges.” Not many people actually realize what they’ve done until they’ve done it. You never know what you have or how important someone is to you until they’re gone. This is true to a point. “Honesty is the best policy.” Yeah right! Come on who believes that? I do. With all my heart. Life is a bridge, keep walking in the right direction you’ll get across the the bridge to the other side with only a few scars. Take the wrong step, and every step you take after that you’ll get a piece of that bridge pulled right out from under you. Life is not easy no one said it would be, they just said it would be worth it. I’ll admit I’ve burned a couple of bridges with some people in my life I’m done and don’t want to have anything to do with them now and I don’t regret it at all. Letting people go isn’t always easy but in the end it’s all worth it because if they hurt you once they’ll just hurt you again, why keep putting yourself through that? Burning bridges was the best thing i ever did. Be careful with what bridges you choose to burn. You don’t wanna burn the wrong one.
